A note to hiring Managers/Clients:

We recognize that employers and hiring managers are already busy people, and adding the need to recruit and hire new employees is an additional responsibility to your already long list of things to do. Part of our job is to help you to alleviate as much of the task as possible and assist toward a favorable conclusion. We work closely with you, remaining engaged during the entire selection and hiring process, avoiding obstacles and streamlining as much as possible without sacrificing quality. We strive to prevent fall-offs and turn-downs early in the selection process. Furthermore, reputations matter; the recruiting firm you select is a direct extension of your company and the manner in which your recruiting efforts are conducted by a third party will reflect either positively or negatively upon you and your company’s good name. As such, we act as ambassadors of your organization, an extension of your company brand, and we conduct ourselves accordingly. HOWEVER, please be aware that we are not an agency distributing internet sourced resumes and CVs. We place only those we’ve spoken and or met with and we as a matter of practice, screen and vet to find suitable job candidates who are not only qualified but we seek to find those who fit into your company culture.

A note to job seekers/candidates:

Most people are too busy focusing on what is most important, their jobs. As a result, the interview process is a mystery to most people, who only engage in the activity when they must; making mistakes, we learn along the way. Traditionally, this is the manner by which most of us develop our interviewing skills, though this may be okay for most people, or if there is no urgency attached to their job search. As a part of our standard service we advise those we represent, thereby helping them to maximize their potential to make every interview count.

MICHAEL MAYHER

DIRECTOR CAREER BIOGRAPHY

Michael began his headhunting career in 1992 as a recruiter for Sales Consultants of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, North Carolina, placing professionals nationally. He is a multiple-award winner and became a CSAM (Certified Senior Account Manager) and later a CSM (Certified Senior Manager). In 2001 he relocated to Europe and established MRI Worldwide–Prague, s. r. o., building and managing an award-winning office within Management Recruiters Int’l-Worldwide. In 2006, MRIWW-Prague was awarded the fastest-growing European office.

During his recruiting career Michael has specialized in sales, management and technical positions in a variety of fields, including: medical devices, capital equipment, manufacturing and pharmaceutical markets; thereafter, in fiber–optic and semiconductor market sectors. More recently, he is engaged in general management and professional services, including: legal, finance, banking, tax & audit and human resource sector recruiting. He has assisted people at most professional levels. As a result, Michael has amassed a unique level of expertise that few others can claim, and that insight provides him with diverse, detailed expertise and in–depth knowledge of the job search and interview processes. He understands that recruiting, attracting and representing good professionals is much more than simply CV’s, titles, duties and money. Companies hire people and not paper (resumes).

In addition to recruiting, Michael is a lecturer, a published author and an active blogger. He has also written hundreds of articles.

Prior to his career in sales and recruiting, Michael served for 11 years as a Non–commissioned Officer, U.S. Army Paratrooper, Airborne MP (118th ABN MP Company), Airborne Scout (LRS) and 11th SFG (Reserve). Originally from Cleveland, Ohio and, later, Fort Bragg and Raleigh, North Carolina, Michael is an American of Czech and Slovak heritage.
